We are fortunate to have many top restaurants by the water in Weehawken, NJ for you to take in the views with an unforgettable meal. Here are some of our favorite Weehawken restaurants on the water to explore with your taste buds.
Chart House offers amazing seafood with perfect views and is one of the finest Weehawken restaurants on the water. It’s right on the Hudson River and offers mac nut mahi, slow-roasted prime rib, and many other classics and specialties. Come here for an elegant meal and or even just to experience one of the best happy hours in the area. Our local Chart House restaurant has even been on TLC’s Cake Boss, while prime-time television shows and blockbuster movies have also featured this gorgeous location. Gluten-sensitive and plant-based options are available at Chart House. In addition to weekday happy hours and daily dinners, Chart House serves Saturday lunch from 11:30am to 3pm and Sunday brunch from 11am to 2pm.
For restaurants by the water in Weehawken, we also love Molos, which serves Greek and Mediterranean-inspired seafood along the Hudson River. You’ll love the fresh seafood here that’s prepared daily. This restaurant is practically in Port Imperial’s backyard and a culinary treasure that’s ideal for special occasions, happy hour specials, private events, and catering. The full bar features wines from Greece, while the private dining space on the second floor can comfortably accommodate up to 120 seated guests. Come try Molos at 1 Pershing Road in Weehawken on Mondays through Thursdays from noon to 10pm, Fridays from noon to 11pm, Saturdays from 11am to 11pm, and Sundays from 11am to 10pm.
Ruth’s Chris Steak House
You can visit Ruth’s Chris Steak House locations all across the country, including the beautiful restaurant by the water in Weehawken. This newly remodeled and expanded restaurant offers views of the Hudson River and NYC skyline, has a cocktail lounge, and is right next to the ferry. This is a great place to celebrate a special occasion or event by renting out one of the elegant private dining rooms. Hand-crafted cocktails, wine, and appetizers are served for happy hour here, starting at just $8. For your convenience, complimentary valet parking is available every day during dinner.
For Cuban-inspired cuisine, open-air seating, and great views of the Manhattan skyline, stop by Son Cubano for a meal. This is one of our favorite Weehawken restaurants by the water because of the excellent views and unique atmosphere. You’ll enjoy the glamour of 1950s Cuba, modern twist on traditional Cuban dishes, and extensive cocktail menu when you come to Son Cubano for lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch. You can make a reservation online and also book private events by the water at this local restaurant near our Port Imperial properties.
Jack Austin’s is a hot spot for waterfront dining and drinking in Weehawken and located inside the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor at 500 Harbor Boulevard. The restaurant takes a modern twist on the farm-to-table concept to offer comfort foods with creative touches for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It has a full bar with happy hour specials, gluten-free options, and also kid-friendly fare.
NoHu at EnVue
Unparalleled views of the New York City skyline are all yours when you are at the NoHu Rooftop Bar and Restaurant in Weehawken. This local hotspot offers a unique riverfront setting and upscale ambiance on the sixth floor of the EnVue Hotel. Thanks to heat lamps, a fire pits, and plush blankets, you can enjoy the views and atmosphere all year long. NoHu serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch under the direction of Head Chef Rocco Russo.
